San Pedro Alcántara boasts significant historical heritage, including the Roman baths of Las Bóvedas and the early Christian Vega del Mar Basilica.

Seeking a design that is both classic and contemporary, we reinterpreted one of the area's oldest and most important historical elements: the baptismal font of the Vega del Mar Basilica, unique in Spain for its characteristics. Beyond creating an attractive feature that invites visitors to explore the avenue's park, the project is a tribute to a history that is sometimes overlooked.

The fountain rises from the ground so that visitors can walk through it, experiencing the water jets at close range, and continue into a shaded plaza before rejoining the Mediterranean Avenue promenade. More than an ornamental feature — a lived experience.
